Take a timeless journey through all four seasons as seen through the eyes of a child. As mother and child embark on their daily errands, they travel down a winding country road meandering through the fields of a dairy farm. The changing seasons are marked by the activities of the dairy farmer and the wildlife in the surrounding countryside. Growing corn, harvesting hay, new calves peeking through their fence, and turkeys strutting capture the season's gradual changes through winter, spring, summer, and fall.

I wake up each morning, my hair all a mess,
Then peer out the window to see how to dress.
I look for a sign that will give me a clue
As to what I should wear for the things I will do.
